Our Story

Working with NBA players and elite athletes in NYC, Andrew Page realized that the 7-foot, 45lb Olympic Bar struggled as a functional
tool for most people. String together a couple BMX bike wheels, a cable cross bar and some 2” ends and you have what is, effectively,
an ultralight Olympic Barbell that anyone can lift.

Such was the first version of what we now call The Axle. It’s a tool that lets every one of any level experience the benefits of lifting.
Every detail from the length to the grip, to the air-filled smooth-rolling tires, are designed to give the user an empowering training
experience. And it fits in a bag. With lifting wherever you go, strength and performance have never been easier.

The Team


Andrew Page has worked as a strength and conditioning coach for athletes and NBA players in New York City since 2007. Seeking a barbell that athletes and people from all experiences could lift, he built an improvement on the 100-year-old barbell that scaled to everyone who wanted to lift.


Yesenia Marrero, a graduate of The University Of Central Florida, Communicative & Hearing Disorders, she has been a lifelong multiple sport athlete and health professional. A former member of the Puerto Rico National Women’s water polo team, she became the first woman to officiate an Olympic Water Polo Game in Athens, Greece (2004) in the history of the sport. As a junior Olympic athlete, she competed in track & 5k/10k runs. After retiring from the competition world, she became passionate about fitness serving as a master trainer for top fitness brands including The Axle Workout and as a Group Fitness regional director for prestigious clubs in Puerto Rico. As part of Team Axle, she works as an account representative for customer service and social media planning for the execution of marketing strategies, educational content, and community management.


Helya Glen is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, with multiple specialized certifications including Yoga and RKC and studied business at Cal Poly University in San Luis Obispo CA. As an athlete, Helya Played tennis for 10 years, completed in 7 triathlons and one 1/2 marathon. She opened her own gym, The Studio, in Ventura Ca, in 2014 and continues to share her expertise on healthy living and functional training. Helya plays the lead in helping MostFit develop programming and new equipment.


For more than a decade Omar Castillo has been helping people achieve their health goals in Mexico. His work as a Personal Trainer has been featured in fitness magazines, television and newspapers such as Balance, Reforma & Universal. Omar studied Sports Science in LA SALLE University with a masters degree in coaching and wellbeing to apply these concepts to biomechanics and joint health in every aspect of his work as a PRECOR Master Coach, Mastery Level Resistance Training Specialist®, AXLE & CICD Master Coach and Certified Muscle Activation Techniques™ Specialist, holding the distinction of being the first full-body M.A.T.-RX Certified Practitioner in Latin America. Now, as a Strength and Performance Coach for National athletes, he keeps growing, learning and developing strategies to make better decisions within many disciplines.


Sylvie is a personal trainer and master coach dedicated to empowering her clients to take charge of their health and self-care. She works with training facilities and therapeutic centers to educate their staff members in order for them to successfully implement new methods of training and technology.


Grace Sanford is a dance and fitness professional in New York City. After graduating from Eugene Lang College with a BA in Dance a foot injury propelled her into becoming a physical therapy aide. There she discovered a love for human movement mechanics. Aiming to achieve a well-balanced lifestyle her call to fitness seemed natural. In continuing her education she has acquired numerous fitness certifications such as NASM CPT, TRX, Antigravity Yoga, Barre, Jumpsport, and is a Master trainer for Axle. She believes movement has the power to heighten the mind and body connection and wants to share it with as many people as she can!


PJ Stahl, MA, CSCS, is a fitness entrepreneur at heart and is always looking for new innovative ways to progress the fitness industry. He utilizes over 20 years of experience, an extensive education in kinesiology, and numerous national certifications to provide elite level ventures and services
